LoyalLens is a public-records people-search service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using LoyalLens you agree to this Policy.
1. Who this Policy covers
This Policy covers two groups:
- Users — people who create searches and reports (our customers).
- Searched individuals — people who are the subject of a search. See Section 11 for their specific rights.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Search inputs you enter about a searched individual: first/last name, approximate age, gender, city, and — optionally — a photo, phone number, and social handles (Instagram, TikTok).
- Account information: your email address and authentication details.
- Payment information: processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our systems (see Section 5).
- Support communications you send us.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, and actions taken, collected through cookies and analytics tools (Section 8).
Information retrieved from public sources:
- To build a report, we query publicly available sources and third-party providers, which may include: the U.S. Department of Justice NSOPW sex-offender registry, public data-breach indexes, public court and inmate record portals, publicly visible social media profiles, public web search results, and public messaging-app presence.
- We only aggregate publicly available information. We do not hack accounts, access private messages or devices, or provide real-time location tracking.
3. How we use information
- To create and deliver the reports you request.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send you service messages (e.g., report ready, monitoring alerts) and, where permitted, product updates you may opt out of.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of: performance of a contract (delivering your report), legitimate interests (operating and securing the service), consent (optional cookies/marketing, where required), and legal obligation.
5. How we share information — service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors that help us run the service, under contracts that limit their use of it, including categories such as:
- Hosting & infrastructure — [e.g., cloud hosting provider]

6. Data retention
We keep your account and search data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for a limited period as required for legal, accounting, and security purposes. You may request deletion (Section 9). Sensitive fields returned by a search (e.g., exact addresses) are handled under stricter access controls.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict/object to the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact [privacy@loyallens.app]. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know, delete, correct, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not "sell" personal information for money. To the extent any sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising is deemed a "sale" or "share," you can opt out via ["Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"] on our site or by emailing [privacy@loyallens.app]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, and analytics. Where required, we request consent for non-essential cookies. You can manage cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings.
9. How to delete your data
Email [privacy@loyallens.app] from your account email, or use in-account controls where available. We will delete or de-identify your personal data except where we must retain it by law.
10. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Rights of the searched individual
If you are the subject of a search and want your information reviewed or removed from future LoyalLens reports, email [privacy@loyallens.app] with proof of identity. Note that much of the underlying information is held by third-party public sources; we can control what LoyalLens surfaces but cannot delete records at their original source.
12. Children
LoyalLens is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from, or allow searches intended to target, minors.
13. International transfers
We may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and, where required, notified to you.
